Remnant 2's Gunslinger Class Brings Devastating Firepower to Bear on PS5

Remnant II is the sequel to Soulslike-with-guns Remnant: From the Ashes, which was revealed last year. We got a new trailer focusing in on the Gunslinger, one of the character archetypes available to players.

The Gunslinger is singularly focused on bringing an extreme amount of firepower to bear on enemies, utilising a high rate of fire to ensure maximum DPS, and utilising an arsenal of old-timey weapons to devastating effect.

Really looking forward to this, loved the first game as it was a total surprise playing it on Plus. Interesting they’re adding a few more layers to characters since the first game’s build diversity was pretty much reliant in the weapons themselves. This looks like there’ll be even more to it this time around.

I enjoyed the first title but really wish they had ditched the procedurally generated gimmick. It really is such a lackluster design choice when implemented in most of these titles for me personally. The rest of the gameplay was great though.

Highly interested. I never played the first, but I think I have it. But no one to play with. This looks like improvements. So maybe n I'll play this day one and be able to find folks to play with

Remnant from the ashes next to nioh games are the best souls like games ever.remnant from the ashes is a amazing game and remnant 2 looks amazing as well.word up son

This looks great!

Hope they include the roguelike Survival mode in the main game and not just the DLC this time around, as that was the most fun way to play the game, imo.

The first game is very skewed to a 2-3 person game, while it’s possible to do it solo, it would be really difficult to do so. I hate when potentially good games get into this co-op mindset, it’s never thought that it won’t go over too well a few years in.

Loved the first, gave up on RftA. At least give an option for a single player dungeon, or an AI companion.

Current game is tooled for more than 1 player, no option for single. Kind of like how AC Unity has to be “online” when the server doesn’t exist anymore.

@Bunchesopuppies Yeah, I hope it's a bit better balanced. I earned the platinum with about 5-10% co-op gameplay hours, but it was the hardest gaming experience of my life. And that's as someone who has since platinumed Elden Ring.

That being said, it was 100% my kind of shooter. I'll take this over any other sorta mainstream shooter these days. CoD, Farcry, series I used to love... nothing they do holds a candle to what Remnant did. Just so so engaging and satisfying.
